FND Pre Congress Symposium

The inaugural Clinical Alliance for Research and Education in Functional Neurological Disorders (CARE FND) Symposium held in November 2023 at UNSW, Sydney was a resounding success, with nearly 200 attendees from across Australia and New Zealand representing the breadth of clinical disciplines involved in FND care. 

In response to a groundswell of interest in FND and growing demand for similar educational opportunities, the 2nd annual CARE FND symposium will be held for a full day preceding the 2024 International Congress on Neuropsychiatry in Melbourne, focusing on contemporary developments in FND translational research and clinical care. 

The program will be of strong interest to all healthcare professionals involved in caring for people with FND, including psychiatry, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, occupational therapy, psychology, physiotherapy and speech pathology. Please note there will be no abstracts being taken for this symposium.
